3 Days of Bliss

We stay 3 x nights in a luxury, big converted barn by the sea, do 6 x Yoga and Meditation classes over the weekend. Endless surfing, vegan breakfast and dinner, optional lessons and the possibility of SUPing, coastal walks, massage and crystal and reiki healing treatments by the amazing Saltwatergaia, chilling, beach time and lots more.

The Accomodation

We stay 3 x nights in a luxury, big converted barn by the sea, in the countryside. The oceanographer owners of the barn have beautifully designed every aspect of the with the ocean in thier mind and heart. Expect to see ancient boat lamps, huge shells and old maps they have saught out. Its wonderful, unique and high class.  The accomodation is shared, either in a twin or there is one triple. You can also share a king sized double en suite with a friend or partner. There is a log fire, a huge bath, big lounge, large kitchen, lovely garden where you can hear the local sheep, cows and birds, a, big open plan dining area, space to hang wetsuits and a games room. There is also outdoor furniture to enjoy relaxing with a cup of tea outside in the garden in the sunshine.

The Food

The food on the retreat is amazing and a big part of the healing and nurturing aspect of the retreat. Our beautiful chef lovingly prepares us vegan brunches, dinners and snacks. The meals are very healthy but also delicious! The vegan food helps us detox, cleanse and heal. The nutritious food, mixed with yoga, meditation and the sea is the perfect healing combination. It will help you feel lighter, brighter and more connected with yourself.

Why Surf & Yoga?

Yoga and surfing work wonderfully together. Many top pro surfers swear by yoga to compliment their surfing. Yoga helps with being present, building strength, increasing flexibility, enhancing balance, concentration, focus, calm and pranayama increases lung capacity. Yoga helps you surf with more energy and endurance.

 

Yoga helps you to focus in the water and have a personal relationship with the ocean. Whether you are a Yogi looking to try surfing, a surfer wanting to incorporate yoga, to have a lovely holiday or just try something different, this will be great for you.

I organise surf lessons for you, or you can bring/hire your own board and wetsuit and we can surf together at one of the nearby beautiful surf beaches. If you don't fancy surfing you can relax on the beach, explore, have a massage or go for a coastal walk.

Yoga & Surf Retreat

This Yoga and Surf retreat will be relaxing, rejuvinating and lots of fun. We will be close to the sea near the beautiful beaches of Croyde and Putsbough. The barn is luxurious and in a quaint village in the countryside. Three days of Yoga, meditation (if its warm we can do the classes in the garden) relaxation, surfing, coming back to yourself, connecting with the oceans energy, amazing vegan food, massage, healing, coastal walks, beactime and lots of fun.

Yoga & Surf Retreat

4-7th September 2020

Enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful Devon coast, mixed with Yoga, meditation, amazing vegan meals, Surfing, SUP, log fires, massage and healing, coastal walks, beach time and fun. We will do 6 x Yoga and meditation classes over the weekend and there is an option to book surf lessons. We stay 3 nights in a big, luxurious barn in the countryside.

My Story

I had a dream to run Yoga and Surfing retreats for a long time, but I always felt it was just a distant dream that would may never happen. A pipedream. Until I did a meditation in a small ashram on an island off Guatemala.

I stumbled across an ashram which looked lovely with some beautiful big yellow flowers outside. I decided to join a class there.

 

This class changed my life.

 

We did a meditation called I Am. I saw my soul. It was overwhelmingly beautiful. I realised I was capable of doing anything I wanted. I booked my first Surf and Yoga retreat straight away when I got to my next stop on my trip, Costa Rica.

 

I created my first Yoga and Surf Retreat on my phone using the surf hostels intermittent wifi. It seemed so easy because the work was coming straight from my heart and soul. When the retreat came I wasn't nervous at all and loved every minute. I couldn't believe this was my job! Every time I go to Devon and share my knowledge and heart with the yogis, I feel so good like this is what I am supposed to be doing. Suitable for

The Yoga is for beginners and intermediate Yogis, I can vary the postures to suit all abilities. We will do a mix of Hatha Flow, Yin, Yoga for surfing and relaxed Hatha. The style is fun and creative, yet focused and still challenging. Yoga stretches, strengthens, tones, helps to align, and improves the health of the entire body. My varied mix of guided meditations will help you in different areas of your life and help you to calm the mind and bring you into the present.

The weekend costs £385. This is non refundable and non transferable. You can pay a deposit of £170 to hold your space. This is also non refunafable and non transferable. The remaining balance must be paid 10 weeks before the retreat date. Please contact me to book.

Surf Lesson- optional (£25 pp) for 2 hours with Barefoot Surf School
